GUIH’s main area of expertise has been dealing with homeless people in the Melbourne CBD since 2017.

A few of us like-minded people working in the fields of Social Work, Community Development and with real-life experience, felt the need to reach out to people who are affected by the COVID Pandemic.

Due to the pandemic, we have not been able to feed the homeless in the CBD on Monday nights. Once the lockdown is eased, GUIH will be back reaching out to the people struggling in the streets of Melbourne due to lack of housing, family support, financial hardship and feeling helpless and hopeless.

GUIH exists to give them hope and let them know that they are not alone during this difficult time.

GUIH will journey with them to find ways in bridging the gaps in services and getting them back to some stability in life.
