Winter Appeal

Support our 2024 Homelessness Outreach project every second Friday of the month by volunteering your time. You can also help support GUIH through cash donations, so that we can continue to reach out to vulnerable people in the streets of Melbourne.

Eradicating Homelessness is everyone’s responsibility.

Join GUIH in finding ways we can build bridges to support this vulnerable cohort of people who just need that additional help and support.

If you would like to donate towards this cause please donate online. Every dollar donated toward this project will go towards issuing vouchers for pharmacies, supermarkets and paying rent for emergency backpackers accommodation.

Give a little help a lot

Overseas Homeless Project:

Overseas Housing the Homeless for Destitute (OHHD)

There were so many aged women and men uncared for by their children in the operational areas of the Society of APARA. Hence it started a home for the aged in Govindamedu village in the year 2007.

The women and men staying in this home are above 65 years old. Many of them are sick and limited in their mobility. The Society gives motherly care and attends to the needs of these elderly people.

GUIH has partnered with APARA to support these destitutes.

$50 or $100 will go towards food and medical expenses.

Please donate to our online account and mention (OHHD).
